Kyle Lewis...

EDMOND - The OGA is saddened at the news of Kyle Lewis' passing. Kyle played in our events and was an outstanding young man with a bright future ahead of him. Our sincere condolences go out to his family and friends. Services for Kyle will be held at the Bethel gym 10:00 am on Friday, July 30..

Stroke Play Championship Pairings...

EDMOND - The 2010 Stroke Play Championship pairings for rounds 1 & 2 are online. The tournament is being played August 2-4 at Quail Creek Golf & Country Club in Oklahoma City. The top 30 and ties qualify for the final round . We have an outstanding field and look forward to the tournament next week. Click the following links for the tee times:


Senior State Amateur Complete...

OKLAHOMA CITY- The Senior State Amateur Championship is over with Jay Lavender capturing the championship. Lavender defeated Ricky Lutz 2 & 1 in the finals.The tournament was played July 19-22 at Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club. EDMOND - The State Amateur is complete Congratulations to Stephen Carney who defeated Andrew Green 5&4 in the finals. Click on the following links to view the matches in progress. The tournament was played July 12-14 at Cedar Ridge Country Club in Broken Arrow. A big thanks to Buddy Phillips, staff and membership of Cedar Ridge for an outstanding tournament.

USGA US Amateur Qualifying..

EDMOND - The 2010 USGA US Amateur Qualifying is complete. The 36 hole tournament was played July 26 at Tulsa Country Club in Tulsa. Click here to view the results.

USGA Groove Information....

FAR HILLS, NJ. (Sept. 22) – The United States Golf Association will adopt the new groove rules as a condition of competition for the 2010 U.S. Open, U.S. Women’s Open and U.S. Senior Open starting with the sectional (final stage) qualifying events for each of the three championships. The condition of competition regarding grooves will not be in effect at local (first stage) qualifying events for the 2010 U.S. Open Championship.
