EDMOND - Congratulations to Josh Creel, the 2015 Oklahoma Open Champion. Creel fired a final round 65 to capture the championship. Ryan Grider was the low amateur. All players who shot 142 or better qualified for the final round. We had 153 players competing for the championship. KINGSTON - The Stroke Play Championship is complete. Congratulations to defending champion Colton Staggs who fired an -7, 209 to capture the championship. 31 players qualified for the final round. The tournament was played on August 3-5 at Chickasaw Pointe Golf Club. We would like to thank Ryan Chapman and the staff of Chickasaw Pointe for a fantastic event. State Amateur Championship...
EDMOND - The State Amateur final day is complete. Congratulations to defending champion Brendon Jelley who defeated Jeff Coffman for the title. We haven't had a back to back winner of the State Amateur since 1991-1992. This was the first time in OGA history to play an event at Oak Tree National. The club has the highest slope rating of any course and the 2nd highest course rating in the country!
